In January 2016, Colorado State University President, Tony Frank, informed the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture that he had decided to build a new practice field west of the new stadium. This would require the 36 year old perennial garden at the Plant Environmental Research Center (PERC) to be relocated to the Garden Art District. Read more

Purple potatoes might not be the first thing that comes to mind when trying to increase vitamin, mineral and antioxidant intake. However, a group of researchers from CSU have recently developed potato varieties that satisfy these nutritional needs and could act as a preventive measure to several diseases. Read more
