Stacey Weaks (BSLA ’99 from CSU) is a Principal with Norris Design, a planning, landscape architecture and project promotion firm based in Denver with offices in Frisco, Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Austin and Dallas. Stacey started his professional career with Meisner+Associates in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2002, Stacey joined Norris Design in Denver. Stacey led Norris Design’s expansion into the Arizona market by founding the Tucson office in 2004. The Norris Design Arizona offices were recently recognized for an Arizona ASLA Honor Award and the Firm of the Year.
Stacey practices as a planner and landscape architect, leveraging a diverse background in placemaking, community development, urban planning, and parks and recreation. He is currently working on the Pro Football Hall of Fame Hotel in Canton, Ohio and a new Town Center Vision in Sahuarita, Arizona. His team recently completed the Park and Recreation System Master Plan for the City of Tucson. Stacey has been recognized for his work on a number of projects in Arizona including a mixed-use project called Plaza Centro, the Blue Moon Community Garden, and the Banner/University Medical Center Campus.
Stacey enjoys challenging projects, the orchestration of complex project teams and working with local jurisdictions to create solutions that work for all stakeholders. When not in the Denver or Arizona offices of Norris Design, Stacey focuses his time on his wife Bridget, their three boys, and their Poodle (a boy too) which makes for fairly active down time. Skiing is a huge passion, and he enjoys his time with the family in the mountains. Stacey and several CSU alumni actively champion the Niice Fund (amga.com/memorial-funds), a scholarship program for aspiring mountain guides in honor of their close friend and CSU alum, Chad VanderHam. Stacey is proud to be a CSU Ram and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
