Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Distinguished Alumni Awards

Colorado State University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Alumni Awards. The purpose of these awards is to honor outstanding HLA alumni who have made important impacts in the horticulture and landscape architecture communities in Colorado and around the world. An Honor Alumnus is a graduate of CSU’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture who has a distinguished career and service to the profession and has brought honor to themselves and their chosen field.

We will be selecting three alumni for this honor, one from each of the HLA majors:

Landscape architecture major
Horticulture major — Concentrations include food crops, floriculture, viticulture and enology, horticulture business, horticulture therapy, and horticulture science.
Environmental/landscape horticulture major — Concentrations include turf, nursery and landscape management, landscape design and contracting, and landscape business.

Nominations are due Jan. 7, 2019, and awards will be presented at the HLA professional mixer on Feb. 27, 2019. To nominate someone or to self-nominate, please fill in the online form by Jan. 7. Please send an up-to-date resume to Chelsea Bonser via e-mail.
